I must admit when I first came across this DIY, I squealed. Glitter just makes girls happy doesn’t it? Just like ants to sugar, when girls go shopping we’re drawn to the sparkles. And why not sparkle on your wedding day, of all days?!
A bit of glitzy surprise under your gown never hurt. They’ll make for a great photo-op and you’ll definitely feel glamorous!

This DIY is surprisingly simple and I am so happy The Glitter Guide shared this with their readers!
First things first, find yourself some inexpensive heels. Find ones at a flea market, garage sale or use some of your old ones that need a makeover!

You’ll also need gold (or silver, or pink, or blue … whatever color you want!) glitter, acrylic glue, sandpaper and a paintbrush.

Step 1: Make sure your shoes are nice and clean.
Step 2: Grab a container and mix your glue and glitter together.
Step 3: Paint your shoes!
Step 4: Once painting is complete, sprinkle more glitter to make sure the shoes are completely coded and there is no white showing.
Step 5: Once your shoes are dried, make sure you don’t need another coat for any places you may have missed. Also, clean out the inside of your shoes in case any glitter fell in.

We want to extend a big thank you to The Glitter Guide for introducing us to this fabulous DIY from a pair & a spare!
